Where can I purchase recovery disks for my Averatec notebook computer?
I have an Averatec - (Feather Light) 1100 Series notebook
I believe it to be infected with a virus and no amount of scanning and removing with a virus protection program has worked. I figure I would just reload windows but the recovery disks I have, I thought were for this computer, but are not. I want to purchase them online if possible.

Get windows xp, and run it on your computer.
Windows xp should find all your computer drivers and also erase the virus by you selecting the option . " Format " sometimes the 10/100 ethernet card does not get loaded, but if your computer is new then it will find all the necesarry drivers.
IF windows xp does not install all the drivers necessary u can go to averatec.com and download the drivers from there. If you have trouble finding them on the their site, call the company they can help you for free….
