I was looking at the Creative SBS 60 or the Creative SBS 80 speakers. It says the’re great for mp3 players and it looks like you plug them into any device with a headphone jack so it should work with my computer. Will they sound any better if I use them for my Sony Vaio FS920 computer. I want some speakers that are louder and have more bass than the speakers I have now.
I was also looking at the Logitech V10 notebook speakers, which plug into a USB port.

I am looking for some speakers that are louder than the speakers that come with my Sony Vaio. Also speakers with a good strong bass sound (or at least stronger than the sound I get with the speakers I have now). The speakers would have to plug into a USB port or the headphone jack. Something less than preferrably. They don’t have to be portable because I would only use them at my desk, so it’s okay if they have to have a seperate power source.

I’ve noticed Levino notebook computers at mass merchants like Best Buy, Circuit City and Office Depot for about a year and some. They seem competitively priced but who are they? Generally Toshiba and Sony are regarded as the machines of choice over HP and Compaq. Where would Levino stand between thes eother mfg’s? Sould I choose it over which others if all other things are equal?

Thank you
Yes, I meant Lenovo. I recall the IBM Think Pad computers butw as not sure they were the same company. But how are they now for quality - often companies change products when going to consumer markets ?

My old computer is more than 5 years old, and it’s been acting up a lot lately. I’ve visited places in Akihabara, such as Laox, to find a new notebook. However, all they had were Sony Vaios that weren’t all that powerful. The selection was terrible. Actually, they were having a clearance sale at the time, so it’s possible they’ll have better stock when they get the new computers in. I do not want a Sony Vaio. I want a notebook PC that is fairly powerful, dedicated graphics (no integrated graphics chipset), and not tiny. And it must have English Windows. Does anyone have an experience searching for notebook PCs in Tokyo that has found a good place?
I never said I was looking for a Sony Vaio.
Just a little extra info. I can’t build a notebook computer. Also, I can’t go pick one up in North America. I’m not going there for many months.
