WHAT TOOLS AND GOOD NOTEBOOKS(not a computer, i mean a good WRITING notebook) ARE THERE AND WHERE CAN I BUY THEM?

I need to replace the charging port, or possibly repair it. I have removed all the screws and taking out everything that looked like it needed to be taken out.

If someone can give me some what detailed instructions of actually opening the case, or a link to instructions, that would be great.

Please do not tell me I shouldn’t mess with the laptop. Or blah blah, I don’t know what I’m doing. I don’t care. I know a lot about computers, just not notebooks.

I’ve been looking for a quality notebook for some time now and would like some input. I’m looking for something with a 14 or 15.4 inch screen (preferably a pretty high resolution). I also need a bit of video memory, at least 128 mb dedicated but preferably 256 mb. More importantly I need a nice processor, 1.83GHz at least. I would prefer an Intel Core 2 Duo processor for the power and heat benefits. Speaking of heat, I have always had notebooks that ran hot, I would like to change that. The most important thing to me is how sturdy the notebook is. I had a Dell Latitude quite a while back that was really sturdy, I could toss it around and not worry about it, I would like that in my new computer too. Detailed responsed would be appreciated, rather than "get ur self a toshiba cuz dats what i gotz!"

I need 3 notebook computers for a business I’m starting up. So far, the only companies that I can find who offer notebooks under lease are Dell and IBM. Are there any other brands to choose from that offer a business lease?
