HP notebook?
Hello,
I am currently considering to buy a notebook and I was wondering which was better, HP Pavilion or HP-Compaq Presario? Any reasons why one may be better over the other?
Secondly, is there any difference between the processor Intel and AMD? Or would you say they are both as good?
I require a notebook for my studies and the basic requirement is a 2GB RAM on the notebook. Compaq Presario has a model that meets this requirement, though it isn't my favourite. I was considering a HP Pavilion DV2205 or TX1005, but I would have to upgrade the RAM to 2GB under -third party- (the retail shops do not have the original). I'm not sure if this will be safe. What do you think?
Thanks! In advance
Jonny
I'm based in Singapore, so some models might not be available else where. http://www.hp.com.sg
Hello to all, thanks for all your replies!
I've decided to get a Pavilion instead of the Compaq. I believe Pavilion has a better graphic card, I think, and I require this for my studies. Regarding the tablet PC tx1005, I don't think I will get that though it may be very useful to me in the future.
Once again, thank you very much for replying! I guess this post is closed now, but if you still want to reply, you may. Haha.
