How come my main computer where i hook up my dsl doesn’t work but my notebook works?
i have a wireless router hooked up to my desktop pc. this past week it stopped working it keeps giving me the message like phone line busy 676 or something. But then my notebook computers work because of the wireless. why does the main computer not work? what did i do? i deleted some stuff. but i don’t think it was important.

start by creating a new connection
If it is saying phone line busy it is trying to activate dialup. You should not have a modem connection to the line. Check that your network card is working, you may have deleted it’s drivers.
