How can I load a program on a mini notebook computer if there is no CD rom drive?
I am looking into a mini-notebook, and as I understand they will run any program, but I wonder how I can load a program on it that comes on a CD rom if there is no CD rom drive? Do I have to attach the CD Rom drive externally?
Are there any programs a mini-notebook can’t run?
(I don’t have one yet but am looking at HP’s new 2133 model)
Thanks!

Buy an external USB CD rom
You can always copy the software to a thumb nail drive and load it from USB. Or get a USB external DVD drive and load it that way also.
Most companies put the drivers and installation software on their website, available for free download. You can go there, download what you need, and install your device.
