Clicking problems with my notebook computer mouse?
I usually tap the touchpad on my notebook mouse for clicking and double clicking, but on some things I need to be able to click with the mouse buttons, both left and right. However the keys are hard to press down, and even when I do press the mouse buttons I notice it doesn’t activate the left (or right click) at times, the mouse drops things, or double clicks even when I’m only pushing the button once. Is there a way to clean/fix the left and right buttons on my notebook mouse so that they work like they did when I first got the computer? My notebook is only 15 months old.

Go to the mouse control panel and see if there is a setting for double chick speed. That is the time that the system uses to determine if it is a double click or two clicks.
