I’m looking for something that isn’t huge and bulky. I would also like it to be able to utilize wi-fi so she can study with her friends at coffee houses and such. I was looking at refurbished computers on the Dell site, but I don’t know enough to sort through all the tech stuff. Please provide me with all the specs I should be looking for in the computer.

I’m looking to buy a new notebook and I need some tips to buy the right one. I know i want one with 802.11abgn built in and with at least 2GB of RAM and at least 120GB hard drive. I want a fast processor for multitasking. Can someone please advise if i’m overlooking anything or if there is something new like new processors coming in the next few months. Any tips or ideas would help thanks.
Mostly I will do music applications like music editing and maybe video.

I’ve already bought a smart bag with a protective section for the computer, and an HDMI cable so I can hook it up to my HDTV.

I have a notebook, which is Windows XP Pro based and about 18 months old. Processor speed is 1.8 GHz and 512 MB RAM. Now, my system speed has gone down and I would like to increase the speed. If anyone could suggest the temporary files which I need to delete as a part of achieving this, in addition to other possible methods, I would be grateful.
